Ilayathalapathy following Puratchi Thalaivar's FootstepShanthanu Bhagyaraj and VJ Keerthi, who tied the knot on Friday, 21 August, organised a wedding reception for the film fraternity on Saturday evening, 22 August.
The wedding reception was attended by a lot of celebrities including Tamil superstar Rajinikanth. Ilayathalapathy Vijay.
Shanthanu had married Keerthi at a traditional event in Chennai on Friday. The couple tied the knot as per the Hindu customs. Celebrities including Khushboo, Ilayathalapathy Vijay, Mani Ratnam, Suhasini, Vishal, Sivaji Prabhu, Karthi, Parthiban, Telugu star Venkatesh, Jyothika, Soori, Vijaykumar, Sarath Kumar and his wife Radhika attended the wedding.
Keerthi is the daughter of famous choreographer Jayanthi Vijayakumar and is popular as an anchor on television show "Maanadu Mayilaadu", which is aired in Kalaignar TV.
Shanthanu Bhagyaraj is the son of actor-director K Bhagyaraj and Poornima. He has acted in several Kollywood films and is currently busy with Senthil Kumar's "Vaaimai" and "Amali Thumali"
