Vijay Sethupathi and director Seenu Ramasamy, who teamed up for the yet to-be-released ‘Idam Porul Eval’, will join hands once again. Their new film together has been titled ‘Dharmadurai’.
“However, this is not a remake of a Superstar Rajinikanth’s movie of the same title. Only the title will be used after obtaining permission. The script is a fresh one and it will be set in a town,” sources in the know say.
The movie will be produced by R K Suresh, who was at loggerheads with Vijay Sethupathi recently, after their proposed film ‘Vasanthakumaran’had to be shelved. “The problems between the producer and the actor have been sorted out,” sources said.
At present, Vijay Sethupathi is busy with films such as ‘Iraivi’, ‘Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum’ and ‘Sethupathi’. In ‘Sethupathi’ directed by Arunkumar of ‘Pannayarum Padminiyum’ fame, the ‘Soodhu Kavvum’ actor is playing a police officer for the first time.
