Surya adopts 3 flood hit villages

Most of us know that actor Surya dedicate a particular amount from his income for charity work regularly. He is involved in providing educational and medical assistance for the needy, being
accompanied with his father veteran actor Sivakumar.
During the first phase of rain, behalf of his family, Rs.25 lakhs was provided to the ‘flood relief fund of chief minister’. At this juncture, Surya has announced that his ‘Agaram’ foundation will adopt 3 flood hit villages (Nelvaai, Kachchur and Keragampakkam) in Tiruvallur district.
Irular community people are inhabitants of these heavily affected villages. As they have not any ID proofs, it is not possible for them to acquire the help of government. Their children do not go to schools. As their children affected with malnutrition problem, Surya has turned his attention towards those pitiable people.
