The film maker shankar and rajanikanth met few months ago in mumbai and were gearing up to make asequal of their blockbusyer endhiran. initially, it was said that shankar apporached bollowood star aamirkhan for role with grey shades, who reportedly turned down the offer.
now,the latest buzz is that katrina kaif will be sharing screen space with Rajanikanth in endhiran2.we hear that shankar had initial round of talks with the actress and if all goes well, she would sign that dotted line.
one may recall that katrina was the first choice for soundaraya Rajinikanth kochadaiiyan, but when she declined the offer deepika replaced her.
rajini at present is all set to start new venture Kabali, a gangster movie malaysia that is being directed by madras fame ranjith.the movie is likely to get wrapped up by early next year. after kabali, the actor will move on to the big budget flick Endhiran2
