Thala Ajith films, you would find out something that he did not involve so much in re-make films like Vijay. His only remarkable contribution in re-make is ‘Kreedam’ which was from Malayalam. Now, a better chance is appearing Ajith to do in re-make again. That film is ‘Baskar the Raskal’ in which Malayalam superstar Mammootty had starred.
It was a blockbuster movie. Akshay Kumar from Hindi and Venkatesh from Telugu have already applied for the re-make of this film in their language respectively and invited Siddique to direct them. But, Siddique was firm to complete Tamil re-make as his first choice. He was well aware of heroes in Tamil for this role. Rajini or Ajith are his only choices.
As Rajini is engulfed in ‘Kabali’ shooting as well in ‘Endiran 2′ preparation, the only option for Siddique is Ajith. It is said to have known that Ajith has agreed to cast in this re-make film. The female lead of this film is same asMalayalam. We can anticipate the official announcement shortly regarding this.
