Only a few days ago, Suriya made an announcement on Twitter that he’s done with the shooting of his upcoming film 24, a Vikram Kumardirectorial. Suriya is in three different roles possibly the father, son and the grandfather but nothing has been confirmed yet.
If this is true, Suriya will be playing a triple role for the first time in his career. Sources neither confirmed nor denied this information. Rumours are abuzz that the film is slated for a Pongal 2016 release.
Now, the latest we hear is that, he’s all geared up for Singam 3, the third installment of the highly successful Singam franchise, which will go on floors on the first week of December in Tuticorin.
Seems like director Hari is planning to make the film an action-packed one on a grand scale and sources say that director Hari has planned to shoot the film in and around Tuticorin and many other foreign locales starting from December 2.
There is talk that the story of Singam 3 is likely connected to the previous two parts, and Singam 3 will take off from where Singam 2 actually ended, making it a true sequel.
Sources add that the overseas portions will be canned from March next year in Australia, Paris, New Zealand and Malaysia to name a few. To beproduced by 2D Entertainment, the makers plan to release the film during April 2016.
Singam 3 stars Suriya, Anushka and Shruthi Haasan in lead roles and Anirudh Ravichander is reportedly on board to compose music for this action-adventure. Meanwhile, Suriya also does a cameo in Pasanga-2 directed by Pandiraj.
